FOUNDER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Abundant Habitat is a Brooklyn, New York based interior design studio founded by Emi Young in 2019. The studio offers a unique, holistic approach to interiors where luxury and wellness coalesce.

Emi infuses concepts of Feng Shui, ergonomics and overall wellbeing into distinctly curated designs. She gravitates toward creating spaces that feel orderly yet fluid by embracing asymmetry, pairing unexpected elements and mixing modern and vintage pieces.

A graduate of New York School of Interior Design, Emi hails a background in hospitality and restaurant design having designed interiors for two of New York City’s downtown luxury boutique hotels Soho Grand and The Roxy.
Her passion for design is fueled by the opportunity to facilitate the profound transformation that takes place when a well executed design results in the most exquisitely aligned space for her clients.

OUR ETHOS
Living abundantly goes beyond having a beautifully designed space and envelops how a person feels and functions in it. Our minds and bodies are constantly impacted by our surrounding environments and our goal is for these moments in your home to be fully supportive of your whole wellbeing. We take into consideration the ergonomics of the body and how it moves through a space, the five senses and how we can enhance our multifaceted interactions within our environment, and the overarching design aesthetic which effects mood and self expression. By working intimately with our clients, we are able to deliver well curated designs that support their specific lifestyle needs and convey their unique perspective in this world.
